Background

Language services are services provided by agencies or institutions which offer language services to people affected with limited proficiency in foreign languages by using information, communication and technology strategies. To further improve the industry of languages services from both academic and professional perspectives, and to enhance collaborations between western China and the global world, the College of Foreign Languages and Cultures (CFLC), Chengdu University is hosting an international forum on language services with a theme of “Smart Language Services: Globalization and Localization”, aiming to provide an academic and professional platform for scholars and practitioners to share and contribute their knowledge and practices for better communications and further collaborations.
